2020 Audi RS Q3 pricing and specs revealed

Audi Australia is boosting its compact performance car portfolio with the all-new Audi RS Q3 and the addition of the first-ever RS Q3 Sportback priced from $89,900 before on-road costs. For the first time, a limited number of these models can be secured via the innovative new Audi Online Reservation platform

The all-new Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback will be available through the Audi Online Reservation platform, which is accessed through www.audionlinereservation.com.au. The new platform provides a seamless and convenient means of securing the first available vehicles for some of the most desirable Audi models, via a locally developed configurator. A refundable $1000 reservation fee is required, for customers to secure their vehicle, with the rest of the transaction completed through their preferred Audi dealer.

“The Audi Online Reservations platform enables customers to configure their vehicle, calculate any finance options they might choose and even enter their trade-in details,” said Nikki Warburton, Chief Customer and Marketing Officer at Audi Australia.

“The system has been fully developed here to local Australian specifications, in order to provide a seamless experience for our customers. We look forward to seeing it launch with one of our most exciting vehicles to launch in 2020, the all-new Audi RS Q3 range.”

Power is courtesy of Audi’s legendary 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbocharged petrol performance engine, developing 294kW of power and peak torque of 480Nm, capable of slingshotting the RS Q3s from 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds, assisted by quattro all-wheel drive and the fast-shifting seven-speed S-tronic automatic transmission.

Standard kit on the RS Q3 models 21-inch alloy wheels and an RS sport exhaust system, two new RS-specific Audi Drive Select modes, RS sport suspension with damper control, progressive steering and wheel-selective torque control.

Exterior design elements include a new three-dimensional honeycomb grille, black exterior styling package, metallic paint, privacy glass for its rear windows and Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators in bespoke RS dark-tinted surrounds.

Inside the RS Q3 you’ll find RS sports seats in fine Nappa leather with honeycomb stitching, 3-zone climate control and the 40:20:40 split rear seat that also slides fore and aft for added versatility.

The Audi RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback also come equipped with the most sophisticated safety assistance systems including adaptive cruise assist (includes active lane assist and emergency assist), 360-degree camera, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic assist, hill descent control and hill hold assist. Other safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection and direct tyre pressure monitoring.

Advanced levels of technology and infotainment are also standard with the RS Q3 range including MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, Audi virtual cockpit plus with a 12.3″ screen and RS menu and Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System (15 speakers, 680 watts), wireless charging with Audi phone box light, Audi smartphone interface (Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay), 4 USB outlets (2x front and 2x rear) and Audi connect¬†plus¬†services.
