RENAULT AUSTRALIA TO HOST FIRST AUSTRALIAN R.S TRACK DAY AT ALBERT PARK GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT

Motorsport enthusiasts are being offered a once in a life time opportunity with Renault Australia announcing owners of the brand’s limited edition Megane R.S. Trophy 300 will get the chance to drive their vehicle around the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, the very same track Renault F1 Team drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon will race on during the Australian Grand Prix.

The world-renowned track only exists for one week each year and plays host to one of the biggest motorsports events in the world – the opening round of the Formula One Championship – with Renault Australia getting access to the track exclusively for its customers.

To be held the morning of Wednesday11 March 2020, the Albert Park R.S. Track Day will be the first dedicated track day planned by Renault Australia for Renault Sport enthusiasts.

Attendance at the Albert Park R.S. Track Day is available to any purchaser of the Megane R.S 300 Trophy between 01/12/19 – 28/02/20.

A maximum of 15 customers will be able to participate in the Albert Park R.S. Track Day, with customers required to secure their place at this exclusive event via online registration at a cost of $500.

Enthusiasts participating in the Albert Park R.S. Track Day will be coached by professional instructors who will lead and accompany drivers to give them the best experience possible on the track.

When not enjoying the thrills of the track, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to spend time with members of the Renault F1 Team and the Renault Sport GRM TCR team with four enthusiasts getting the chance to win a hot lap around the circuit with Renault F1 Team drivers.

Owners of the super exclusive Megane R.S. Trophy-R will also participate in the day, getting the opportunity to experience the highest performing production car Renault has ever released.

To be eligible to participate in this experience customers must pay a fee of $500, possess a current LS2 License and a compliant Level A Standard 1698 Helmet. All vehicles will need to pass a safety check by Motorsport Australia prior to commencing on track activity.
