Headlining the new features for the pocket rocket Swift Sport Series II that will be available to purchase from Suzuki dealers from May 2020, are more safety technology included as standard as well as a new hero colour and an updated instrument cluster.
Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said, “The introduction of the updated Swift Sport Series II is a significant evolution of what was already a class leading driving experience.”
“New advanced technological features and a bold new colour option will be sure to impress. We welcome these refinements to the Swift Sport Series II, which will further enhance the driving experience of this iconic vehicle.”
Safety features fitted as standard now include blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and heated door mirrors. The instrument cluster is now also digital and there is a new orange/black two tone colour to choose from. Pricing is yet to be announced for the Swift Sport Series II.
The Suzuki Ignis has also received a mild update that will be on sale from May 2020. Aside from three new colours to choose from (Ivory, Khaki and Black) the exterior benefits from a newly designed front bumper, rear bumper and front grille. The interior has also had a refresh too. The 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine remains unchanged, and is good for 66kW at 6000rpm and 120Nm at 4400rpm, and considering the Ignis weighs in under 900kg, there isn’t a whole lot of weight to get moving.
Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said, “The updates to the Ignis Series II are significant.”
“The Ignis has always been a unique proposition. A light compact SUV with eye-catching and stylish looks, the new and improved Ignis Series II has solidified the vehicle’s bold design, capturing its ultimate essence as a funky every day city car.”
Pricing is yet to be announced for the Suzuki Ignis Series II.
